Welcome to my fundraising page!
Starting April 30th, Matt Campbell joined the Hike for Heroes team to hike the entire Appalachian trail from Georgia to Maine. He is an Honorably discharged Soldier of the United States Army and is raising funds to help Active Heroes toprovide Military families with help in times of hardship such as foreclosure, equipment for children with special needs, and more! Matt has set out to hike upto 35 miles per day for the entire 2,185 miles!
I am have joined Matt's team to raise funds and provide my own support in memory of my cousin 1st. Lt. James R. Zimmerman, a proud Marine who was killed in action in th Kandahar Province of Afghanistan on November 2, 2010. His love for his fellow Marines, our country and his love of nature and Maine give me the push to support Matt's journey in helping the families he would have loved to help himself!
Help me support Active Heroes by making a donation. The process is fast, easy, and secure. I truly appreciate any support you can provide. It will benefit a great cause!
If you can't make a donation at this point, help me reach my goal by sharing this page on Facebook and Twitter! Even better, join Matt's team or send an e-mail to friends you think might be interested in contributing and include a link to my page!
Thanks so much for your generosity!
